Cree Language Books (1996–Now)

The Gift of Language has developed a collection of Plains Cree language books for Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 5 learners since 1996. Below are sample pages from selected publications. Many of these resources are currently being restored and digitized to preserve them for future generations, as some original materials have experienced digital deterioration over time.

The Gift of Language has created a range of vocabulary resources and word lists to support Cree language learners. These materials focus on building everyday vocabulary and expanding language use across a variety of topics and learning environments.

The Gift of Language is currently developing a comprehensive history book on Onion Lake Cree Nation. This ongoing project is intended to preserve community history, knowledge, and stories for future generations.
