Creating Cree language and cultural resources for our community. 

Curriculum Development

Creating nēhiyawēwin immersion and core language curriciulumfor our community. This includes Indigenizing our current curriculum.

Askīy pimātisiwin

Creating land-based curriculum that are based on our local environment, traditional knowledge, seasonal activities and cultural teachings.

OLCN Timeline

Research and creation of a database on Onion Lake Cree Nation’s history, pre-treaty to current

Audio + Video Resources

 Recording and preserving nēhiyawēwin through audio, video, stories, conversations, and Elder knowledge for future generations.

Translation/Editing

 Supporting the translation, editing, and review of Cree language materials, educational resources, and community content.
